The Crucible play, how do these relate to it? 10 points for best?

Ok OH my god , so i totally read this and im totally excited cause i know the answer. lol. SO. The crucible was based on the Salem Witch trials right? right. When Arthur Miller wrote this play he had gone through an ordeal with Senator McCarthy. During this time there was the scare of communism , and Joseph McCarthy was extremely ambitious and wanted to wipe out all the communists., The Red Scare is communism, this ties to the play because in the play the red scare would be witchcraft. Obviously this didn't exist just like McCarthy's fanaticism for anti Communism when it wasn't as bad as he made it sound. There were a number of hearings in which the accused were tried for pretty much treason, and suspicion of communism . In the play there are hearings in which the people were tried of witchcraft. McCarthyism nowadays refers to making political accusations of disloyalty, or treason without proper evidence. In the play what Abby I think was her name, was doing was McCarthyism she didn't have evidence just what she made up and the people were stupid enough to believe it just like people during the McCarthy hearings in which society was in such panic they believed him The Hollywood ten were actors among them Arthur Miller who were accused of communism. In response to the hearings he wrote the play. So I hope this helped.... If not remember when in doubt Google saves lives. :)
