I get syntax error,win 32 and always getting redirected!!?

I know it's a virus. I have avast and malware. Avast is always stopping something,usually win 32 but in a matter of minutes i get booted off. Syntax errors and always redirecting. Is there anything i can do for free to rid these? Please help it's my daughters computer,ready to scream,Thank you
