I have decided to use granite tiles to make counter tops, to set the tiles,use a thin set or epoxy glue?

Modified or a latex thin set( water and the powder) is the best. They actually have a bit of " give" in them so if you need it it won t break tiles as readily. This"give" that the thin set has is so minimal that you can t feel it but it s there. Epoxies are not used much any more just for the opposite reason, they bond so tight that ir was breaking to many tiles. The use of construction adhesive is not a good idea either. You can t get a good full spread w/it , also you run a chance of it bleeding thru the stone and staining it. Any questions you can e mail me GL
