I want a Mac, help!?

Okay so I really want a Mac for when I go off to college next year, but I honestly dont know why. I just really want one. Anyways my parents want a reason, other than ooo it looks so cute. So could anyone give me reasons why Macs are far superior to PCs? Or else Ill be stuck with a dell. Thanks:D
