When should I tell my bf that I love him?

We have been together for two months and I have completely fallen in love with him. Everyday I realize I love him more. I have been in a relationship before that I felt this kind of unconditional, totally accepting love for someone and that was what I considered to be the best relationship of my life and something I thought I would never feel again. I have had relationships even a marriage since but nothing felt like "that" kind of love I thought I would never feel again for anyone, until now. I know he really likes me maybe even has fallen in love with me but not said it yet. I have almost told him a few times but couldn't do it for fear of that deer in the headlights look that comes after you hear something that freaks you out. I am terrified of scaring him if he's not in love with me just yet but I also don't think he's the type to express his feelings that way unless prompted. What do I do?
